- Had amazing Bhutanese food with Genevieve and Kelly C. Zhego in Woodside!
- Playing lots of tennis and having the most humbling losing streak. 0-4 matches up until yesterday where I crushed in Central Park. I think the clay surface is a bit more forgiving for my lack of agility on the court.
- Crafting with Fiona and Annie yesterday and eating food in Sunset Park and being convinced to read War and Peace
- I caught my first fish today! A little striped bass. I couldn’t dislodge the circle hook from its mouth though, so Dan had to help me.
- The weather is sooooo beautiful.
- I hope I can drive up to see the Orionids next weekend :)
- My apartment is sooooooooo beautiful !!! I just had to take down two doors (One of them is behind the kitchen door, and the other is hanging out by Puppycat’s litterbox. They’re so heavy)
- I’m able to easily swim 500m now with my breaks in between a lot shorter. I think I can push myself even harder. But I’m so happy to swim with such ease now. Shouts to Lorenzo who swims on the very left lane from Astoria Pool who checked my form when I asked him to. The tips that worked best for me: 1) reach straight out when about to pull instead of crossing my head 2) stay there for as long as the glide allows me, I should feel my obliques with the reaching 3) look even more straight down than normal so my head pushed down helps my legs push up and not sink. I even breathe better because of my head position now :)
- Puppycat is being so cute. I love him!
- Grateful for my job and work environment right now
- Going to US Open Fan Week tomorrow ! Yay !
- I haven’t been drawing very much and missing it. I can start whenever I want though.
- Love the books I’m reading right now. Love the movies I’m watching right now.
- Saw a cicada, an isopod, some chanterelles and even more fauna and flora
- A summer of being unemployed and weirdly miserable and injured last year has majorly put a lot of things into perspective for me. It’s a beautiful day outside and life is so so so sweet!
